Braj Bhoomi is the land where Lord Krishna was born and spent his youth. Covering an area of about 3800 sq.km, today Brajbhoomi can be divided into two distinct units 

1. The eastern side of river Yamuna covers places like Gokul, Mahavan, Baldeo and Raman Reti. 
2. The western side of river Yamuna covers Mathura region that encompasses Vrindavan, Goverdhan, Kusum Sarovar, Barsana, Nandgaon and Radha Kund.
